Historic Dual Townhome, Walk to Seaport

My family stayed a week. We range in age from 13 to 71 years old. We all had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We walked to just about everything.The home is well equipped with the essentials ( towels, paper goods shampoo, body wash, dish cleaner, detergent). Gerard was wonderful, making sure all was well.I would rent again in a heartbeat.

We are an extended family seeking to be together but also have our separate spaces, and this property was just the right mix. Separate entrances and no internal connection gave us each privacy, but we were also easily able to drop in on each other. The exterior of these two abutting houses is charming 19th century, and that feeling carried inside with wide-beam plank floors and period framework. The interior was had a modern, seaside look. The bedrooms were ample and with 2 full baths on the 2nd floor, there was no waiting around in the morning. The kitchen was perfect for our summer-time stay, very clean and fully equipped. There was even a grill on each of the small patios outside, but we never used them as the restaurant choices in Mystic were just too enticing (we were easy walking distance to the restaurants in Mystic as well as the train station). Our dining table sat 8-10 people (we were not that many on our side) and we found the living room very comfortable and a great space to unwind after a busy day.The owner was very responsive and even proactive; we felt comfortable that if any issue arose he would handle it quickly. We had a great stay and would recommend it for anyone seeking a space for large groups.

We were a group of 8 adult colleagues celebrating the completion of a graduate degree. This place was meticulous, wonderfully decorated, fully stocked, cozy and amazingly convenient to restaurants shops, etc. We walked everywhere and were all able to get exactly what we individually needed out of the weekend! We had a great stay with eight adults! Gerard was responsive and helpful. Check-in was smooth and we really appreciated not having to do a ton of check-out chores. The location is SO nice for walking to local restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this property!

Very well located house, close to downtown so a short walk to restaurants and shops (and a CVS, we have young kids). House was clean, communication from the owner was prompt and clear. We had a great weekend.
